Description

Nest box suitable for squirrels. The hanging squirrel nest is suitable as a shelter and allows small squirrels to be raised safely.

Squirrels will usually have one to two litters per year. The number of offspring from these litters will depend on the species. Although the little ones are born without fur, blind and without teeth, they grow up quickly to arrive at the aspect that we know.

Their diet varies according to the habitat and the season: softwood cones and nuts (acorns, hazelnuts) which constitute their main food source, buds, flowers and fruits of a wide variety. At the end of the summer, they can collect fruits in caches and contribute to the dissemination of seeds when they do not collect these food resources.
