• The kennels

Isolated roof

For the choice of a roof, it is recommended to use in this case an insulated roof, because during the summer months, the sun can heat the metal roof and there ... it may "heat up"

Roof structure:

  • inclined
  • atypical

Roofing options:

  • tiles
  • bitumen shingles
  • metal panels and insulated metal panels

Raised roof

During the summer months it is necessary to guarantee the ventilation of the kennel from the hot air.

Wall construction

Depending on the possibilities and options of the kennel, it can be placed separately or attached to your house.

For the cladding we use outside cladding (quality Douglas) and inside, if you want, paneling of the same quality as the dog house of your pet. The middle space is left open or it can be loaded with an insulating material - it all depends on your choice and the needs of your pet.

Outside Options:

  • Solid wood cladding, Saint Louis profile
  • Solid wood cladding, profile Claire Voie
  • Plastic or metal cladding
  • Building boards, autoclave treatment

Options from the inside:

  • Solid wood paneling
  • Plastic or metal paneling

Floor

For the floors we only use plywood panels with a high degree of resistance. They are suitable for very humid climates and are used for example by boats building, protecting the floors of trucks or trailers.

Because this is part of the kennel, which is more loaded and often in contact with water and also "aggressive fluids", the floor is lightly descending, so all the fluids are drained out of the kennel.

Two sides open

To obtain the best ventilation of the kennel, at least two walls or sides are fully or partially open (bars, mesh) - if the orientation of the kennel (relative to the cardinal points) allows it.

Grids

The recommended standards are bars with a thickness of 4 to 10 mm at a distance of 5 or 10 cm. It depends on the size and breed of your dog. Grids are generally galvanized (galvanized steel) or may be made of stainless steel. They can be equipped with integrated bowls. During your absence, someone else could feed your dog without entering the kennel.

Options:

  • Galvanized steel
  • Stainless steel

Doors

The doors are made of the same material as the grids with a closure for the safety of your dog (because unfortunately the stolen dogs in the gardens of the houses are not rare) and with a fixing of the doors in open position.
